A voice-controlled journey back to the moon.
THE CHALLENGE
Everyone knew Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. Far fewer knew he was a U.S. Sailor, leaving the Navy disconnected from one of the most inspiring achievements in history.
THE IDEA
Using Google Assistant, we turned Armstrong’s journey into a voice-activated adventure where players had to get Apollo 11 safely to the moon and back, then connected those skills to careers in the Navy.
THE IMPACT
The experience became the #1 Google Assistant of the Week, with 27% of users spending 15+ minutes playing, driving a 45% increase in visits to Navy.com during the campaign.
